Netlink is used to transfer information between the kernel and user-space. This talk will show, how this can be done with golang.

Instead of designing and implementing a difficult system for monitoring, we can ask the Linux kernel for certain information. This talk will give a short overview of the binary based protocol called netlink, which provides information of various Linux internal subsystems.
