Take control of your digital identity with IRMA
2018-12-29, 12:25–12:30, Borg

This talk will introduce IRMA, which offers privacy-friendly, secure and open source attribute-based authentication and signing.

Currently authentication is a messy and user-unfriendly business: people do not get to see which of their data is handled when and by whom, let alone exert control over it. In this talk we explain how IRMA allows people to carry their own digitally signed personal data on their mobile phones, and how they can choose to disclose any part of it to another party, without involving anyone besides the receiver and without being tracked.
